Common problems and what to check

The messages you are most likely to see from the plugin, your AI app or your site, each with its cause and fix, from a refused token to an import that stopped.

Most problems come from one of the three connections not being in place: the plugin in Figma, the AI app, or the site. The dashboard’s Overview shows which is missing. Then find your message below.

In the Figma plugin

The token screen comes back with “token refused”. The token was regenerated on the dashboard, or your seat was removed. Paste the current token from Tokens; ask the owner for it on a team plan.

“Update the plugin.” The plugin is older than the version FigWP needs. In Figma, open Plugins → Manage plugins and update FigWP, then reopen it.

“Reconnecting” for a long time. The plugin lost its network connection and is retrying. Check your connection; it reconnects on its own.

“Out of pages” with an Upgrade link. The plan’s pages are used up. See Plans and pages.

In your AI app

Every tool answers “open the FigWP plugin”. No plugin is linked to the account. Open FigWP in Figma, connect it, keep it open.

“Select that frame first.” The frame the app wants is no longer selected, or more than one plugin is open and the app is talking to the other one. Select the frame; with two plugins open, tell the app which.

“Converting as drawn would not reflow.” The frame’s sections lack auto layout. Let the app make the auto-layout copy, fix it in Figma, or tell it to convert as drawn. See Prepare your frame.

“The frame is too tall.” Over 20,000px. See Tall pages.

The conversion or import stopped. The app’s turn ended before the job did. Ask it to continue; it resumes by job id and nothing is repeated or charged twice.

“Interrupted.” A newer conversion superseded this one in the plugin. Ask for the newer one.

The app cannot connect at all. See the troubleshooting on Connect your AI app: the URL, pop-ups, the app’s plan.

On your site

“Site is not ready.” Elementor is inactive, or its Flexbox Container feature is off. Fix either in WordPress and ask again.

“Widget not available on this site.” The import refuses widgets the site lacks rather than dropping them. Make sure Essential Addons Pro is active and current.

Inline SVG, HTML widgets or custom CSS are missing from the page. The user who connected the site cannot post unfiltered HTML, so WordPress strips them on save. Reconnect the site as an administrator who can.

Images still point at FigWP. The import copies images in steps; ask the app to continue it. Images FigWP keeps expire after 7 days, so re-import within that time.

The page looks different on the live site. Caching or an optimisation plugin. Clear the cache, and compare the draft preview with the published page.

Still stuck

Write to WPDeveloper support with the frame’s size, the message you saw and, if the app named one, the job id. Support can see what the account did without seeing your design.
